For my edition of the Harker Yearbook, I led 19 staff members in crafting a book that represented our school community. Since the publication staff was creating the first yearbook after the COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to reflect the excitement of returning to school and interacting with our peers in person, face to face.
SPRING SUPPLEMENT
Before starting the yearbook, my first assignment as editor-in-chief was the spring supplement for the previous yearbook. The main challenge when creating this supplement was making sure the design was consistent with the theme set by the editors before us.
HUMANS OF HARKER
Humans of Harker is a project where the different sections of the journalism program work together to highlight the seniors every year. As the lead designer of the book, my responsibility was to create a design that complemented the cover of the publication.
