Being surrounded by filmmakers in Los Angeles has inspired me to explore how design can bring stories to life. From movie posters to title cards and prop graphics, my work captures the tone and emotion of a film through visual storytelling.

Each project is an opportunity to translate a narrative into a cohesive visual world that feels authentic to its story.

POSTER DESIGN

On these projects, I worked closely with the directors to translate their cinematic vision into a single image. Their feedback was essential in refining the mood and typography, ensuring the final designs felt like a natural extension of the films themselves.

PRODUCTION DESIGN

For The Chronicles of the Cosa Nostra Club, I collaborated with the production designer to create prop posters for a film set in a 1950s jazz club. Drawing inspiration from mid-century jazz advertisements featuring artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, and Duke Ellington, I studied the era’s use of bold typography and vibrant color palettes. This research guided my design choices, resulting in posters that captured the energy and glamour of the jazz scene while blending seamlessly into the film’s retro atmosphere.

I collaborated with the director of Fate of the Femmes to design title cards for the trailer of her junior thesis film. At her request, I created two contrasting versions—one that appeared bright and playful, and another that revealed the film’s darker undertones. To evoke a sense of innocence, I used a comic book–style font, soft pink tones, and a shoe illustration reminiscent of early 2000s girls’ book covers, creating a visual language that both charms and misleads the viewer.
